Welcome! Located right upstairs from the ferry dock on the
beautiful island of St. John in the Virgin Islands,
St. John Spice is the Original, whether you’re looking for a meaningful
souvenir or a gift that’s “more than a postcard”. Since 1999 our customers have
been savoring the scents and flavors in a welcoming general country store
atmosphere and sampling Caribbean food products including barbeque grill
rubs and the largest collection of hot sauces in
the Caribbean. We offer many island-made items
including Blind Betty’s, Trinidad Charlie’s, Miss Anna’s and Jerome’s hot
sauces as well as the largest selection of Sunny Caribbee products on St. John.
Browse our great selection of local books and cookbooks. Pick up some Caribbean
Rum Balls, Virgin Islands Candles or Vanilla Extract
made with Caribbean rum right here at St. John
Spice and then hit the beach with our sarongs, beach bags, hats and tee shirts for
all ages. Start the St. John Spice tradition and check out our new store St.
John Spice Too, where you will find clothing for women and children as well as
giftware and many items for your days at the beach. We have recently added
hand-painted items from St. John’s East End artist Sloop Jones. St. John Spice
and St. John Spice Too are open 9am to 9pm and we can ship your purchases. We
sell postcards and stamps and we can mail those as well.
St. John Spice has been in business
now for almost ten years. We continue to offer the quality and variety of
products that have made us a tradition for so many visitors. Our best-selling
item is our Cruz Bay Grill Rub product, winner of a 2010 Scovie award. We enjoy
it often at our house and we know you will also. For this reason, we have added
a five-ounce jar
to our product line. We also now offer a one-pound bag for $27.00. Don’t leave St. John without it! Many
of our spice blends are mixed by hand right on the premises and are made only
from the freshest quality ingredients available. The volume of our business
ensures that our spices are fresh and haven’t been sitting on a shelf for
months, either in our store or at our suppliers. Try any of our signature blends
or our Curry Powder, Ground Cumin or Garlic & Herb Blend and taste the
difference.

Coffee continues to be one of our bestsellers, and we have added White Chocolate
Truffle Coffee because we love it hot or cold. Check out the pages listed
below if you aren’t able to visit us in person, or come by and visit when you
are on St. John
and start your own St. John Spice tradition. Since we’re right next to the
ferry, we should be your first and last stop on St. John.
We are bigger and better than ever. Both
St. John Spice and St. John Spice Too are found by taking five steps after
leaving the passenger ferry dock and going up the brick stairs. From the cruise
ship passenger drop-off area, take a RIGHT and walk through delightful Cruz Bay
town to the passenger ferry dock.
