Greetings and Salutations from
Claire, the new owner of St. John Kids as of September 8th, 2007!
The look of the shop hasn’t
changed much since it reopened at Dockside in October 2006. Most everything is still in the same areas of
the store!
You’ll find a lot of the same
merchandise that has always been part of St. John Kids. Why reinvent the wheel?
I do plan to add a few new lines
of toys, games and books to see how that goes, after all a good many of my
customers are from the community and I would like them to have some new
choices. Once I’m approved with these
companies I’ll post the new merchandise.
In addition to the new items some
of the tried and true lines will return with their company’s refreshed take on
things. Like Woodstock Musical Toys,
Young Colors clothing for girls, Window of the Eye apparel for infants through
teen, wonderful plush animals from Douglas and great toys from Club Earth and
The local art will continue with
Elaine Estern’s beautiful prints and cards, Stepho’s hand painted mirrors, frames, jewelry boxes and
jewelry, OneHorn Buttfish
is being enjoyed by many with adult and children’s t-shirts, rash guard/quick
dry long sleeved shirts with built in sun protection. Sea and Sand Designs will continue to create
the lovely sand letters, names and phrases.
Children’s books and puzzles are always updated or return to print and
will continue to have an island feel including the always popular and well
loved pirate theme.
